Key Responsibilities:
- Build trusting, nurturing relationships that promote independence and wellbeing
- Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and professionals to support young people
- Contribute to the upkeep of the home, including cooking and cleaning
- Accurately document information and maintain up-to-date records
- Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are strictly followed
- Promote a safe environment at all times, responding appropriately to risks and concerns
Requirements:
- Valid UK driving licence is essential
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or willingness to achieve within the required timeframe
- Motivated by a desire to positively impact young people’s lives
- Good understanding of safeguarding and protection of vulnerable children and young people
- Flexibility to work shifts, including sleep-ins, weekends, and bank holidays
- Relevant experience working with children and young people is desirable but not essential with the right attitude and willingness to learn
