Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 (Negotiable for the right person)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager (Children’s Homes) – EBD to oversee the opening and operation of three new children’s homes for children and young people with EBD in Liverpool. This is a key leadership role based in Liverpool, where you will register the homes, establish strong care standards from day one, and ensure each home is ready to open in sequence. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development and day-to-day leadership of three new children’s homes in Liverpool for children and young people with EBD
- Register as RI for the homes and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements
- Open the first home, then lead the rollout of the second and third homes when ready, maintaining consistent standards across all Liverpool locations
- Build effective operational systems, governance, and safeguarding practices for each home in Liverpool
- Lead, support, and develop teams to deliver high-quality, therapeutic care for children and young people with EBD
- Ensure strong partnership working and professional communication to support outcomes for residents in Liverpool
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager or senior manager within children’s residential care
- Ability to register as RI and demonstrate strong understanding of regulatory expectations
- Experience working with children and young people with EBD
- Demonstrable leadership skills, with the ability to open services and embed robust processes
- Strong safeguarding focus, with the ability to drive safe, consistent practice across all Liverpool homes
- Commitment to delivering positive outcomes and maintaining high standards in Liverpool
