We are seeking an experienced and committed Responsible Individual (RI) to oversee a well-established 2-bedded children’s residential home in Wembley, London, specialising in Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate individual to support and guide a small, therapeutic service currently caring for one young person. You will work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure compliance, quality, and the overall success of the home.
Key Responsibilities:

Act as the Ofsted-nominated Responsible Individual, ensuring the home meets all regulatory and quality standards

Provide strategic leadership, oversight, and support to the Registered Manager

Ensure the home delivers exceptional care and positive outcomes for young people

Monitor compliance, safeguarding, and operational effectiveness

Support with inspections, audits, and development planning
Requirements:
-
Previous experience as a Responsible Individual or senior operational leader in children’s residential care

Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and children’s home legislation

A relevant Level 5 qualification (or higher) in leadership, management, or social care

Proven ability to support and develop residential teams

Excellent knowledge of safeguarding, compliance, and governance
