Part-time Responsible Individual (RI) - Children's EBD Home, Liverpool (£350 - £550/Day)
Are you an experienced Responsible Individual seeking a significant part-time role? We're looking for a dedicated RI to oversee the opening of a brand-new, 3-bedded children's home in Liverpool that supports young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
This is a key position where you'll directly ensure the service is effective, safe, and meets all regulatory standards from day one.
Your Role
As the Responsible Individual, you'll work closely with the Director to launch and guide this new EBD home. Your duties will include:
- Formally registering as the Responsible Individual for the children's home.
- Assisting with the opening of the new service.
- Ensuring the home is consistently fit for purpose.
- Guaranteeing the service meets all OFSTED guidelines and standards.
- Supporting the Registered Manager (RM) with recruitment and safeguarding.
- Implementing essential policies and procedures.
- Line managing the Registered Manager.
Contract & Compensation
This is a part-time, self-employed contract, requiring approximately 1 day per week. You'll receive a day rate between £350 - £550. An immediate start is available.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management.
- Proven experience as a Responsible Individual is essential.
- A valid Driving Licence.
