Our client, a leading specialist provider, is seeking a dedicated Residential Children's Home Manager to oversee two residential services in Central Bristol. Key Responsibilities:
- Take overall responsibility for the smooth and compliant operation of two 2-bed children’s residential homes in Central Bristol, working closely with Service Managers.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to ensure positive Ofsted inspection outcomes and full regulatory compliance.
- Oversee the implementation of bespoke, child-centred care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Inspire, mentor, and strategically manage staff across both services to deliver outstanding care.
- Uphold the highest safeguarding standards, ensuring swift and appropriate incident management.
- Manage budgets, financial reporting, and resources efficiently across both homes.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful culture within both settings.
Requirements:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a leadership or management role within children’s residential care.
- Extensive knowledge of Ofsted registration processes, children’s home regulations, and safeguarding legislation.
- Experience managing multiple sites or a broader operational remit is highly desirable.
- Deep commitment to achieving the best outcomes for young people.
- Resilient, approachable, and able to build trust quickly with staff, young people, and stakeholders.
