Vetro Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled School Finance & Admin Officer to join a fast-paced, welcoming primary school office team in Swansea. This is a vital role supporting the daily operations and ensuring the smooth management of school finances.
Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management: Process all school invoices, manage payments, reconcile bank statements, and maintain accurate financial records using FMS.

Administrative Support: Manage staff and pupil data, admissions, and reports using SIMS.

Budgetary Assistance: Support the Head Teacher and Business Manager with budgetary control, forecasting, and end-of-year procedures.

General Office Duties: Handle front-of-house reception duties, communication with parents/suppliers, and provide general administrative support.

Compliance: Ensure all financial procedures adhere to local authority and school policy.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Essential Experience with SIMS (School Information Management System) and FMS.

Proven experience in a financial or administrative role within a UK school setting (primary school experience is desirable).

Exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Strong competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

The ability to work calmly and effectively in a busy, sometimes high-pressure, school office.
