You'll become an important part of the Science Department, supporting practical lessons, preparing laboratory equipment and helping create a safe, exciting and engaging learning environment.

What Will You Be Doing?
As a Science Technician, you'll work closely with teaching staff to ensure practical science lessons run smoothly and safely.
Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing practical Science lessons by organising equipment, materials and resources for classroom experiments.

Maintaining science laboratories to ensure a safe, organised and effective learning environment.

Supporting Science lessons by assisting with practical activities and experiments.

Managing laboratory equipment by cleaning, checking, maintaining and safely storing scientific apparatus and materials.

Promoting health and safety by following laboratory procedures and ensuring equipment is used and stored correctly.

Working alongside teaching staff to provide essential technical support and help bring Science lessons to life.
