Salary: £173.00 per day (minimum)

Job Description:
Our client, a leading specialist provider, is seeking passionate and dedicated Secondary Supply Teachers to work in secondary schools across Merthyr Tydfil and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced educators to deliver engaging lessons to learners in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, on an ad hoc basis. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead classrooms of learners in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering high-quality lessons.
• Prepare classrooms and plan schemes of work where required.
• Deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum, engaging students through classroom and lab-based activities.
• Manage behaviour in accordance with school policies.
• Support students' learning and development across various subjects.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of teaching experience (exceptions may apply for NQTs).
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status or overseas equivalent.
• Registration as a Teacher with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) – assistance available.
• References covering the last two years (no gaps).
• Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.
