We are seeking a dedicated SEN Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a leading primary school in Caerphilly. This full-time, long-term role offers an exciting opportunity to work within the Early Years/Foundation Phase, providing vital SEN support to nurture every child's potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children with special educational needs on a one-to-one basis and in small groups to promote engagement and progress.
- Collaborate closely with the class teacher to develop and implement tailored learning plans.
- Assist in creating a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment that encourages children to thrive.
- Support the delivery of adapted activities to meet individual needs and ensure all children access the curriculum.
- Observe, record, and report on children’s progress and behavioural needs.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience working with children with SEN or in early years settings is preferred.
- Compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to support young learners.
- Strong communication and team-working skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing needs and work effectively in a busy school environment.
- Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one.
