Job Title: Residential Support Worker – Children & Young People
Location: Preston, Lancashire, UK
Job Description:

In this role, you will provide emotional support and practical assistance to children and young people facing social and emotional challenges. Key Responsibilities:
- Support young people with daily activities such as washing, dressing, and attending school
- Organise and participate in outings like theme parks, cinemas, zoos, and bowling
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people
- Maintain hygiene standards and undertake housekeeping duties within the home
- Assist the Registered Home Manager in creating a warm, nurturing environment aligned with core values
- Work on a 9-week rolling rota with early shifts (7:30 - 14:30) and late shifts (14:00 - 22:00)
Requirements:
- Full UK driving license is essential
- Compassionate, friendly, and committed to supporting young people’s development
- No prior experience necessary; training and fully funded qualifications will be provided
- Ability to work as part of a dedicated team in a caring environment
