Job Title: Residential Support Worker – Children & Young People
Location: Preston, Lancashire, UK

Job Description:
Are you compassionate and dedicated to making a positive impact on young people's lives? We are seeking a Residential Support Worker to join a leading specialist provider in Preston. In this role, you will provide emotional support and practical assistance to children and young people facing social and emotional challenges. If you’re passionate about caring for others and want to work in a rewarding environment, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in children’s services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support young people with daily activities such as washing, dressing, and attending school
  • Organise and participate in outings like theme parks, cinemas, zoos, and bowling
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people
  • Maintain hygiene standards and undertake housekeeping duties within the home
  • Assist the Registered Home Manager in creating a warm, nurturing environment aligned with core values
  • Work on a 9-week rolling rota with early shifts (7:30 - 14:30) and late shifts (14:00 - 22:00)

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license is essential
  • Compassionate, friendly, and committed to supporting young people’s development
  • No prior experience necessary; training and fully funded qualifications will be provided
  • Ability to work as part of a dedicated team in a caring environment
