Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to be part of setting up a new residential home, creating a nurturing environment for children aged 8 to 18 with Autistic Spectrum and complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
As a Support Worker based in Preston - PR3, your daily duties will include:
- Providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential setting.
- Assisting with their learning, development, and life skills.
- Supporting the implementation of personalised care plans and behavioural strategies.
- Building trusting relationships to promote independence and confidence.
- Contributing to a positive, safe, and inclusive home environment.
Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful as a Support Worker, you will need:
- A full UK driving licence (essential).
- No formal qualifications are required, but a passion for helping children and young people is vital.
- Experience working with children or in a care setting is desirable but not essential.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Willingness to undertake necessary DBS and reference checks.
