Job Title: SEN Teacher - Primary Schools in Wirral
Location: Wirral, Merseyside, UK
Salary: £140 - £200 per day (DOE)
Job Description:
Are you a passionate SEN Teacher seeking a rewarding role in Wirral? We are looking for dedicated and flexible SEN Teachers to join primary schools across the Wirral area. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with special educational needs, providing variety, flexibility, and professional fulfillment. As an SEN Teacher in Wirral, you will work with children and young people requiring additional support or advanced learning programs, helping them reach their full potential in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment tailored to individual needs
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons suitable for all abilities
- Motivate and challenge pupils through effective teaching methods
- Maintain classroom control and discipline
- Collaborate with other teachers and teaching assistants to support student progress
- Stay informed about curriculum updates and educational developments
Requirements:
- Fully qualified Teacher (QTS or equivalent overseas qualification)
- Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN)
- Hold a fully enhanced DBS (or be able to obtain a new one)
- References covering the last two years with no gaps
- Right to work in the UK
- Willingness to cover subjects outside of your specialism if needed
