We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs Teacher specialising in ASD, Global Delay Disorder, and PDA to join a leading SEN school in Aberdare. Key Responsibilities:
As a Special Educational Needs Teacher, your key duties will include:
- Supporting and supervising learners with Special Educational Needs
- Assisting learners at the start and end of the school day
- Supporting staff in preparing classrooms for lessons
- Delivering a variety of subjects at both primary and secondary levels
- Engaging learners through classroom and out-of-classroom activities
- Following the school's behaviour management policies
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year teaching experience, ideally within a Special School setting
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) (we can assist with registration)
- References covering the last two years (no gaps)
- Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
- Right to work in the UK
