Job Description:
We are seeking experienced and dedicated Primary School Teachers to join a specialist SEN school in Ebbw Vale, Blaenau Gwent. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support learners in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 within a positive and inclusive environment. The position provides flexible hours, Monday to Friday, with a focus on creating a nurturing space for children with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Primary School Teacher based in Ebbw Vale, your daily duties will include:
- Delivering engaging and tailored lessons to students in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 within an SEN setting.
- Supporting the social, emotional, and educational development of learners with diverse needs.
- Collaborating with teaching assistants, SEN coordinators, and other staff to ensure effective support for all students.
- Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing feedback, and adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
- Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Primary School Teacher, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience working with children in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, preferably within SEN settings.
- Strong understanding of SEN needs and inclusive teaching practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work full-time or part-time hours.
