Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Birkenhead, Wirral (CH43)
Vetro Recruitment are recruiting an enthusiastic and resilient SEN Teacher to work in a school based in the Wirral/Birkenhead area.
You’ll support pupils with a range of additional learning needs, helping to create a structured, positive environment where learners can make progress academically, socially and emotionally.
This is a great opportunity for a teacher who can be flexible, build strong relationships quickly and adapt teaching approaches to meet individual needs.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to pupils’ needs
- Create a calm, supportive classroom environment with clear routines
- Assess progress and provide feedback to support development
- Work closely with support staff and the wider school team
- Uphold safeguarding policies and promote pupil welfare at all times
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or equivalent)
- Experience in SEN and/or secondary settings is desirable
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
