Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Salary: £95 per day
Job Description:
Are you a passionate teaching assistant seeking a rewarding role in Wirral? We are looking for highly motivated, flexible, and committed teaching assistants to join primary schools across the Wirral area. Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting and supervising educational games, sports, and craft activities
- Assisting children with reading and literacy tasks
- Preparing classrooms for lessons and activities
- Working with pupils in small groups or on a 1:1 basis, including children with additional needs
- Creating displays of children’s work
- Supporting teachers in managing classroom behaviour
- Helping children on school trips and during group activities
- Listening to children read, telling stories, and providing extra support as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 months' experience working with children in schools, nurseries, or similar settings
- References covering the last two years (no gaps)
- Current DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
- Right to work in the UK
