Job Description:
Are you passionate about supporting children's learning and development? We are seeking a dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Ebbw Vale, Blaenau Gwent. This full-time, long-term position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in an inclusive and nurturing educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging classroom support to children, especially those with additional learning needs
• Work closely with the Class Teacher to develop and implement effective learning strategies
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
• Assist with classroom activities, interventions, and behavioural management
• Support individual or small groups of pupils to ensure they meet their learning goals
• Contribute to the overall wellbeing and development of pupils in the foundation phase

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred
• Knowledge of the primary curriculum and inclusive teaching strategies
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, proactive, and compassionate approach to supporting pupils
• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undertake one

Working Pattern:

• Full-time, long-term role from Monday to Friday
• Working hours: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
