Job Description:
Our client, a primary school within the Wirral area is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to support a child with special educational needs on a one-to-one basis.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a nurturing learning environment and to help children achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Learning Support Assistant based in the Wirral, your daily duties will include:
- Supporting a child with special educational needs through personalised learning activities.
- Assisting the teacher in delivering educational programmes tailored to the child's needs.
- Participating in day-to-day learning activities to promote engagement and development.
- Building effective relationships with children, parents, and external professionals to support the child's progress.
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Learning Support Assistant, you will need:
- An enthusiasm for working with children and a commitment to inclusive education.
- Experience working in a primary school or similar setting (desirable but not essential).
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- A full UK DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
