Job Title: Senior Care Assistant

Salary: £29,848 + Monthly Bonus & Paid Breaks
Shifts: 20:00 to 08:00 (3 to 4 shifts per week)
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join a reputable care facility located in a picturesque coastal town near Flint. This role offers an excellent opportunity to lead a team in delivering high-quality, person-centred care in a warm and welcoming environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting residents to maintain their independence and dignity while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting residents with personal care and daily activities
- Administering medication (after training)
- Supporting care staff and overseeing shift operations
- Liaising with families, GPs, and other healthcare professionals
- Responding to emergencies promptly and effectively
- Maintaining accurate and clear records
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
- Previous experience in a care home setting
- Supervisory experience
- A kind, patient, and reliable personality
- Ability to lead a small team with confidence and warmth
- Good communication skills and a genuine passion for elderly care
