Job Description
Senior Care Assistant - Nights is an excellent opportunity for an experienced care professional to join a friendly, resident-focused service in Flint, Flintshire. You’ll help create a safe, warm and genuinely homely environment, supporting older people to maintain independence, dignity and wellbeing through a person-centred approach.
This is a hands-on, nights-based role where you will lead by example, support colleagues on shift, and ensure high standards of care are delivered consistently.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Care Assistant - Nights based in Flint, your daily duties will include:
- Supporting residents with personal care, mobility and daily living activities, promoting choice and independence at all times
- Providing shift leadership overnight, including supporting care staff, prioritising tasks and maintaining a calm, professional environment
- Completing accurate care documentation, including fluid/food charts, incident reports and handovers, ensuring records remain clear and compliant
Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful as a Senior Care Assistant - Nights, you will need:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or be actively working towards it)
- Previous experience within a care home or similar elderly care setting
- Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to undergo one)
