About the Role:
As a Senior Children's Residential Support Worker, you will be instrumental in empowering and inspiring young lives. Working within a well-equipped, supportive team, your primary focus will be to guide children towards achieving their personal goals and developing confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, person-centered care tailored to each child's unique needs
- Support children and young people in daily activities, education, and recreation
- Assist in creating a safe, caring, and structured environment
- Lead and mentor Junior Support Workers, fostering team development
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to each child's progress and incidents
- Promote independence and life skills development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals
What You’ll Need:
- Compassionate, positive, and enthusiastic attitude
- Good communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to think creatively and problem-solve effectively
- Commitment to the well-being and safety of children
- Experience working with children or in a residential support setting is desirable but not essential — full training provided
- Flexible approach to shifts, including sleep-in duties
