Job Description:
We are recruiting a Senior Childrens RSW to join a nurturing, child-centred home in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. This is a key role supporting children with emotional and behavioural needs, helping to provide safe, consistent care and a therapeutic environment where young people can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Childrens RSW based in Tewkesbury, your daily duties will include:
- Providing safe, consistent, child-focused care and acting as a positive role model within the home
- Supporting children with emotional and behavioural needs through reflective, therapeutic practice and clear boundaries
- Mentoring and guiding less experienced staff, contributing to a positive team culture and high-quality care standards
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Senior Childrens RSW, you will need:
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in children’s residential care, ideally supporting emotional and behavioural needs
- Commitment to safer recruitment and safeguarding processes (including relevant pre-employment checks)
