Salary: £30,100 - £35,820 per annum

Join a leading specialist provider dedicated to delivering exceptional care and support to children and young people aged 8–18 with emotional and behavioural disorders and complex needs. As a Senior Residential Childcare Worker in our children’s homes, you will play a vital role in leading and supervising a team of Residential Childcare Workers. Your work will directly impact the lives of young people, helping them achieve positive progress in a nurturing and therapeutic environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a small team of Residential Childcare Workers, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
- Work directly with young people to meet their individual needs and support their emotional and behavioural development.
- Participate in regular child-centred meetings with the clinical team to review progress and plan interventions.
- Support the Registered Manager in delivering quality care and implementing bespoke therapeutic care plans.
- Promote a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for children and young people.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
- Contribute to staff training and development, including ongoing professional development activities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with children and young people in a residential or similar setting.
- Strong leadership and team supervisory skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection policies.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including sleep-ins (up to 10 per month).
- Relevant qualifications in childcare or youth work are desirable but not essential.
