Senior Residential Support Worker – Children’s Home | Cardiff

£30,580 per year (inclusive of sleep-ins) | Full-Time, Permanent

We’re recruiting an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join a well-established children’s residential home in Cardiff. This is a full-time, permanent role offering stability, progression, and a supportive team environment.

The Role

• 39 hours per week
   

• Shift pattern: Long shifts with sleep-ins (2 days on / 4 days off)
   

• Support and safeguard children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs
   

• Act as a role model and support junior staff on shift
   

• Contribute to care planning, key working, and daily routines
   

• Maintain high standards in line with CIW regulations
   

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 12 months’ experience working in a children’s residential home
   

• Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People’s Health and Social Care (minimum)
   

• Full UK driving licence
   

• Passion for delivering high-quality, child-centred care
