As a Senior Residential Children’s Support Worker, you will play a vital role in leading shifts, supporting the management team, and delivering high-quality care in a nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead shifts and support the Registered Manager and Deputy
- Provide high-quality care to children and young people
- Support young people with emotional, behavioural, and social needs
- Promote independence, resilience, and positive outcomes
- Ensure safeguarding and regulatory standards are met
- Mentor and support junior staff members
- Create a safe, nurturing, and structured home environment
Requirements:
- Experience working in a residential children’s home
- Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People (or working towards)
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Passion for safeguarding and child-centred care
