We’re recruiting a Senior Residential Support Worker to join a lovely, child-centred organisation supporting a single young person in a nurturing, therapeutic children’s home in Bridgend.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Residential Support Worker who is ready to take the next step and lead shifts, role-model best practice, and make a genuine difference to a young person’s life.

The Role

• Act as leader on shift, ensuring high standards of care and consistency
   

• Support the young person to feel safe, heard, and empowered
   

• Work closely with the wider team, professionals, and managers
   

• Promote a trauma-informed, child-centred approach at all times
   

• Contribute to care planning, recording, and daily routines
   

• Support and mentor junior staff on shift
   

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 Children & Young People (CYP) qualification (essential)
   

• Experience working in a children’s residential setting
   

• Confident leading shifts and making decisions
   

• A calm, resilient, and genuinely child-focused approach
   

• Passion for supporting children to thrive in a safe, stable environment
