Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the residential home alongside managers, ensuring smooth running of day and night shifts
- Provide direct support to children and young adults, fostering a safe and nurturing environment
- Act as a mentor and supervisor to staff, supporting their professional development
- Lead in maintaining high standards of care and safeguarding for all residents
- Support the implementation of care plans and behavioural management strategies
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce or an equivalent qualification (e.g., degree in Health and Social Care), or currently working towards it
- A full, clean driving licence is essential
- Previous experience in a residential setting within a similar role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and support team members
