Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the residential home alongside managers, ensuring smooth running of day and night shifts
Provide direct support to children and young adults, fostering a safe and nurturing environment
Act as a mentor and supervisor to staff, supporting their professional development
Lead in maintaining high standards of care and safeguarding for all residents
Support the implementation of care plans and behavioural management strategies

Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce or an equivalent qualification (e.g., degree in Health and Social Care), or currently working towards it
A full, clean driving licence is essential
Previous experience in a residential setting within a similar role
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and support team members
