Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the residential home alongside managers, ensuring smooth running of both day and night shifts.
- Provide direct support and mentorship to children and young adults in care.
- Lead and support staff to maintain a safe, nurturing, and positive environment.
- Assist in implementing care plans and safeguarding procedures.
- Promote the emotional and social development of children and young adults.
- Contribute to the team’s ongoing training and development initiatives.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People’s Workforce or an equivalent qualification (e.g., degree in Health and Social Care), or currently working towards it.
- A full, clean driving licence is essential.
- Previous experience in a residential setting working with children or young adults.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and support team members.
- Compassionate, reliable, and committed to making a positive impact.
