Your Role as a Senior Residential Support Worker
As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you’ll:
Support children and young people with emotional, behavioural and social needs
Act as a positive role model and mentor to junior staff
Lead shifts and support care planning and safeguarding
Work therapeutically within a trauma-informed environment
Help create a safe, nurturing and structured home for young people
What We’re Looking For
QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) – essential
Full UK manual driving licence – essential
Previous experience in a children’s residential setting
Strong safeguarding knowledge and leadership skills
A genuine passion for supporting children to thrive
