Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker – Children’s Home Location: Cowbridge,Salary: £31,499 – £32,525 inclusive of sleep-ins
Job Description: A leading specialist provider is seeking a dedicated Senior Residential Support Worker to join their children’s home in Cowbridge. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced childcare professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people. The Senior Residential Support Worker will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support, fostering positive relationships, and supporting the overall wellbeing and development of children in residential care.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high standards of care and support to young people
Build positive and trusting relationships with children and young people
Support the day-to-day running of the children’s home
Mentor and guide support staff on shift to ensure best practice
Maintain accurate records and reports in line with regulatory requirements
Encourage young people to develop independence and confidence
Requirements:
Level 3 CYP qualification or equivalent
Full UK manual driving licence
Experience supporting children and young people in residential care
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and sleep-ins, as part of a rota
Passion for improving outcomes for young people
