Job Description
Senior Residential Support Worker opportunity in Ebbw Vale, Blaenau Gwent within an established residential childcare setting. You’ll help lead a shift team, support consistent high-quality care, and contribute to positive outcomes for children and young people with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Residential Support Worker based in Ebbw Vale, your daily duties will include:
- Leading shifts, supporting day-to-day running of the home, and maintaining safe, consistent practice in Ebbw Vale.
- Completing high-quality recording and reporting, supporting care plans, and working in line with RISCA regulations.
- Providing staff supervision, mentoring new starters, and supporting performance and standards across the team.
Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful as a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will need:
- QCF Level 3 Health & Social Care (Children & Young People)
- At least 2 years’ residential childcare experience, including supervisory/team leader experience
- Enhanced DBS Check (or ability to obtain) and Full UK Driving Licence
