Job Description
As a Senior Residential Support Worker in Corwen, Denbighshire, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with emotional, behavioural, and complex needs. Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Residential Support Worker based in Corwen, your daily duties will include:
- Leading shifts and acting as a consistent, positive role model within the home
- Supporting young people to build positive relationships and achieve their potential
- Promoting a person-centred and therapeutic approach to care
- Working collaboratively with education, therapy, and management colleagues
- Participating in the Management On-Call rota when required
Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful as a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will need:
- QCF Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People (or equivalent)
- Minimum 12 months’ experience within a children’s residential care setting
- Experience supporting or leading a staff team in a similar environment
- Full UK manual driving licence
- Flexibility to work evenings, nights, and weekends
- Confidence using electronic care-recording systems (training provided)
