Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join a leading specialist provider dedicated to delivering exceptional care and education for children and young people. The Senior Residential Support Worker role in Chalfont Saint Peter offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with complex needs, emotional and behavioural difficulties. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of professionals to deliver tailored therapeutic care and support for children and young people.
- Support the Service Manager in managing daily operations to ensure high standards of care.
- Act as a positive role model, fostering trusting relationships with children and colleagues.
- Provide therapeutic care that promotes recovery and positive development.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including care plans, progress reports, and observations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 12 months’ experience in a children’s residential setting, with knowledge of child-centred and therapeutic models.
- NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Excellent communication skills, caring nature, flexibility, and resilience.
