Salary: £15.40 – £16.00 per hour

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join a leading specialist provider in High Wycombe. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people with complex needs. The Senior Residential Support Worker in this role will be responsible for leading a team, supporting therapeutic care, and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery within a Children’s EBD Home in High Wycombe. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of support staff to deliver therapeutic care tailored to each child's needs
  • Support the Service Manager in daily operational tasks to maintain high standards
  • Act as a positive role model, fostering trusting relationships with children and colleagues
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to promote recovery and positive development
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including care plans, progress reports, and observations

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 12 months experience in a children’s residential setting, with knowledge of child-centred and therapeutic models
  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent)
  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential
  • Excellent communication skills, caring nature, flexibility, and resilience
