Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join a leading specialist provider in High Wycombe. The Senior Residential Support Worker in this role will be responsible for leading a team, supporting therapeutic care, and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery within a Children’s EBD Home in High Wycombe. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of support staff to deliver therapeutic care tailored to each child's needs
- Support the Service Manager in daily operational tasks to maintain high standards
- Act as a positive role model, fostering trusting relationships with children and colleagues
- Provide therapeutic interventions to promote recovery and positive development
- Maintain accurate documentation, including care plans, progress reports, and observations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 12 months experience in a children’s residential setting, with knowledge of child-centred and therapeutic models
- NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent)
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential
- Excellent communication skills, caring nature, flexibility, and resilience
