We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join a leading specialist provider in Buntingford. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of professionals to deliver tailored therapeutic care for children and young people.
- Support the Service Manager in managing daily operations to ensure high standards of care.
- Act as a positive role model, fostering trusting relationships with children and colleagues.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to promote recovery and positive change.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including care plans, progress reports, and observations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 12 months’ experience in a children’s residential setting, with knowledge of child-centred, therapeutic models.
- NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Excellent communication skills, caring nature, flexibility, and resilience.
