We’re seeking experienced Senior Residential Support Workers in Colchester to help deliver consistent, trauma-informed care for children and young people who have experienced adverse childhoods. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support day-to-day residential care as a Senior Residential Support Worker in Colchester
- Manage complex and challenging behaviours in line with care plans
- Provide consistent, trauma-informed support to vulnerable children and young people
- Build meaningful relationships and understand individual needs
- Support team development and help create safe, positive environments
- Work collaboratively with senior leaders to maintain high standards of care
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in children’s residential care (essential)
- Supervisory experience (essential)
- Strong leadership, resilience, empathy, and honesty
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children and young people
- Driving licence (preferred) and/or NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care (preferred)
