Job Description:
Our client, a leading provider of specialist residential care, is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join their team in Treharris. This role involves delivering person-centred support to young adults aged 16–25 with autism, learning disabilities, and communication needs within a structured, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Support Worker based in Treharris, your daily duties will include:

Delivering person-centred care and support plans tailored to individual needs
Supporting independent living skills such as cooking, budgeting, and self-care
Promoting positive behaviour support (PBS) and emotional regulation techniques
Supporting community access and social inclusion activities
Maintaining accurate care records and documentation in line with safeguarding and health & social care standards
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Support Worker in Treharris, you will need:

A full UK driving licence (essential)
Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
A genuine passion for supporting individuals with autism and learning disabilities
Resilience, patience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and sleep-ins
Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
