Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Residential Support Worker based in Ribbleton, your daily duties will include:

• Providing compassionate care and support to young people with diverse needs, including emotional behavioural difficulties, autism, and ADHD
• Assisting the Registered Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operation of the home and supporting the staff team
• Supervising and mentoring junior staff, ensuring high standards of care and safeguarding are maintained
• Updating care plans, recording relevant information, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Promoting a positive, safe, and supportive environment for all young people

Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful as a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will need:

• A Level 3 qualification in Children’s Residential and Childcare (essential)
• Previous experience working within a residential childcare setting
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (mandatory)
• Resilience, excellent communication skills, organisation, and a caring nature
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
