Job Title: Children's Support Worker
Location: Porth, Wales, UK
Salary: £14.50 - £29 per hour (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:
- Support children and young people with daily activities and interests
- Promote independence and wellbeing among young residents
- Attend trips, outings, and activities to enrich their social experiences
- Assist with behaviour management and de-escalation techniques
- Follow care plans and risk assessments to ensure safety and support
- Provide emotional and practical support to children in your care
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to safeguarding policies
- Support children during weekends away, holidays, and special events
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 months experience working with children or in a social care setting
- Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People or equivalent
- Full UK driving licence and own transport
- Current DBS on the update service (child and adult) or willingness to obtain one
- Restraint training (TMVA) or willingness to undertake training
- Empathetic, resilient, and committed to creating positive outcomes for children
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and sleepover shifts
