Job Description:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Senior Support Workers to join a leading specialist provider in residential care. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations in a children's residential home, ensuring smooth shift transitions during early, late, long, and sleep-in shifts
- Provide direct support and mentorship to children, fostering a positive and caring environment
- Lead and support staff teams to deliver high-quality care and intervention
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and structured environment promoting the emotional and physical wellbeing of children
- Work closely with management to implement care plans and ensure regulatory compliance
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People’s Workforce, a degree in Health and Social Care, or currently working towards this
- Driving Licence: Full, clean driving licence is essential; unfortunately, candidates without it cannot be considered
- Experience: Previous experience in a residential childcare setting or similar role is required
- Skills: Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to support and supervise staff effectively
