Job Title: Senior Support Worker – Children's Residential Care & Education

Salary: £14.17 - £14.99 per hour (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deputise for the Registered Manager during shifts to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Support and mentor Residential Care Workers, promoting their development through guidance and training
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate individual care plans, ensuring personalised support for each young person
- Keep detailed written records to track progress and facilitate monitoring
- Participate actively in team and staff meetings to foster communication and continuous improvement
- Provide compassionate support and care to young people, encouraging their progress back into education or engagement with schooling
- Support with travel arrangements, including transporting young people to and from school or college
- Prepare meals and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment (laundry, cleaning, etc.)
- Organise and facilitate engaging social activities to promote positive experiences and development

Who You Are:
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Possess a strong desire to earn a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent (essential)
- Ideally have 12 months of senior experience in a residential setting (but applications from those starting their senior journey are encouraged!)
