Job Title: Senior Support Worker - Children & Young People | Residential Care | Leading Care Provider
Location: Cardiff, South Wales, UK
Salary: £14.17 - £14.99 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead shifts and deputise for the Registered Manager when needed to ensure smooth operations
- Support and develop Residential Care Workers, ensuring they meet training and development needs
- Maintain and implement individual care plans with accuracy and attention to detail
- Keep precise written records to monitor progress and facilitate effective monitoring
- Contribute actively to team and staff meetings for continuous improvement
- Provide compassionate support and care to young people, fostering a safe and nurturing environment
- Encourage and motivate young people in their education or engagement activities
- Travel with young people to and from school or college safely and responsibly
- Prepare nutritious meals and maintain a clean, welcoming home environment (including laundry duties)
- Organise and facilitate engaging social activities to promote enjoyment and development

What You'll Need:
- Full UK driving licence
- Desire to earn a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent (essential)
- 12 months of senior experience in a residential setting (highly desirable, but applications from those starting their journey are encouraged)
