Salary: £28,860 plus £55 per sleep in 

Ready to step up from Support Worker and lead a team delivering trauma-informed care? We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Senior Therapeutic Support Worker to be the shift lead at our welcoming children's home in Cwmbran.

You Will Be Responsible For:

• Shift Leadership: Effectively managing shifts and ensuring all care is delivered safely and therapeutically.

• Mentoring: Coaching, guiding, and supporting junior Support Workers to embed best practice.

• Trauma-Informed Practice: Implementing individualised care plans and de-escalation techniques.

• Compliance: Upholding high standards and ensuring the home meets CIW (Care Inspectorate Wales) requirements.

• Safeguarding: Acting as a point of expertise for all on-shift safeguarding matters.

We Need You To Have:

• QCF Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification recognised in Wales).

• Proven experience as a leader or senior team member in a children's residential setting.

• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practice in Wales.

• Resilience, empathy, and a commitment to helping young people thrive.
