The Role
We're looking for an experienced Team Leader to join our compassionate team. You will be instrumental in maintaining our high standards of care for children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This role is not just about compliance; it's about leading by example, fostering a supportive environment for your team, and ensuring every child feels seen, heard, and cared for.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Leading your team: Provide guidance and support to staff, ensuring the highest quality of care is delivered at all times.

Creating a safe space: Maintain a warm, nurturing home environment where children can feel secure.

Upholding standards: Ensure all practices and procedures comply with regulations and best practices, keeping our homes safe and effective.

Collaborating for success: Work with external agencies to provide holistic support for each child.

Professional growth: Participate in regular supervision, training, and continuous professional development to stay at the top of your field.
What You'll Bring

Experience: At least two years of recent experience as a Senior Support Worker or Team Leader in an Ofsted-registered children’s residential setting.

Qualifications: A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is essential. We will also fund your Level 5 Diploma after you successfully complete your probation.

Knowledge: A strong understanding of EBD and relevant legislation is required.

Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. You must be able to work under pressure and make sound, informed decisions.

Passion: A genuine desire to guide and support children.

Driving Licence: A full UK Driving Licence is required.
Salary and Benefits

Competitive Salary: Up to £33,280 per annum, with an additional £55 per sleep-in.

Bonus Scheme: A discretionary performance bonus of up to £1,200 per year.
