Fostering Social Worker – Hull/ Northern Lincolnshire

About the Role
This Fostering Social Worker role focuses on promoting and safeguarding children’s welfare within quality family placements. You'll be instrumental in the recruitment, approval, training, and ongoing support of foster carers, ensuring they provide a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people.

Salary range: From £35,118.01 up to £44,290.00 p/a, depending on your skills and experience.

Hours: 37 hours per week, with flexibility required.

Base: Hybrid working, with willingness to travel to Grimsby and Doncaster offices for meetings and training when necessary.

Development: Ongoing training in our therapeutic fostering model, a progression scheme to advanced level upon successful completion of probation.

Essential Requirements

A minimum of 2 years post-qualifying experience within a fostering service.

A Diploma in Social Work or Certificate of Qualification in Social Work.

Sound working knowledge of Child Protection procedures.

Experience and working knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance including the Children Act, Working Together, Every Child Matters, Care Standards Act, Fostering Regulations, and Care Planning.

SWE Registration (required).

Driving Licence (required).
