Are you a dedicated social worker ready to make a real impact? We're looking for a Supervising Link Worker to join our clients team and help them to provide the best possible care for children and young people. This is a crucial role where you'll be the main point of support for their foster carers, ensuring they have everything they need to provide a safe and nurturing home.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Supervising Link Worker, you'll be at the heart of this fostering service. You'll be responsible for the recruitment, assessment, training, and ongoing support of foster carers. This includes:

Undertaking assessments of potential foster carers (Form F) and presenting them to the fostering panel.

Providing regular support through phone calls and home visits to ensure carers are thriving.

Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards to guarantee the welfare of children.

Completing and reviewing risk assessments to keep children safe.

Working in partnership with everyone involved in a child's care plan, from social workers to families.
You'll also play a key role in our out-of-hours duty rota and contribute to the ongoing development of our service.
