Salary: £95 - £115 a day

Are you passionate about supporting children with learning disabilities and helping them lead more independent lives? We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a leading specialist school in the Wirral.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering tailored educational programmes for children with learning disabilities.
• Assist pupils with their daily activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
• Help facilitate communication and social interaction for children with complex needs.
• Pick up and drop off children from residential services, ensuring their safe transition to and from school.
• Contribute to creating positive outcomes for children with learning disabilities through personalised support.

Requirements:

• A genuine desire to support children with learning disabilities.
• Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature.
• Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is desirable but not essential.
