Job Description:
Are you an experienced and compassionate social worker seeking a rewarding role within a supportive, family-owned independent fostering agency? Our client, a well-established and Ofsted-registered provider, is dedicated to fostering a nurturing environment for both children and carers. Based in Bolton, the agency serves Greater Manchester, Lancashire, and Merseyside, with exciting plans to expand into West Yorkshire. They prioritize staff development, offering tailored resources, flexible hybrid working, and a caring ethos that values every team member.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and Support Fostering Carers: Conduct regular, reflective supervision sessions, ensuring carers are well-supported and adhere to agency policies.
- Monitoring and Assessment: Support ongoing suitability of foster carers, overseeing their ability to provide safe, healthy, and nurturing homes.
- Achieve Positive Outcomes: Collaborate with professionals to support foster families and ensure outstanding care for children and young people.
- Development and Participation: Encourage the involvement of children and young people in service development; undertake Form F assessments and initial home visits.
- Out-of-Hours Support: Contribute to an out-of-hours rota to provide carers with round-the-clock assistance and guidance.
What We Offer You:
- Competitive Salary: £35,000 - £37,000 per annum based on experience

We’re seeking a dedicated, creative, and knowledgeable social worker ready for a new challenge in fostering services.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker (HCPC registered)
- Proven experience within the independent fostering sector
- Strong knowledge of fostering legislation and guidelines
- Excellent communication and administrative skills
- Full UK driving license
- Fluency in Urdu highly desirable to support our diverse community of carers
