Our client, a leading specialist provider of foster care services, is seeking an experienced Supervising Social Worker to join their supportive team in Edgbaston. This full-time, permanent role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-quality care and support for foster carers and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit and assess prospective foster carers to ensure suitable matches for children in need
- Supervise and support existing foster carers, providing guidance and professional assistance
- Ensure children and young people in placements receive high standards of care and support
- Deliver high-quality, professional social work services aligned with best practices
- Complete all documentation accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory requirements
Essential Criteria:
- Qualified Social Worker with current registration with a social work regulatory body (e.g., Social Work England)
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle for travel between placements
- Proven experience in fostering, child protection, or similar social work roles
