Our client, a leading charitable and therapeutic fostering agency, is seeking a dedicated Supervising Social Worker or Senior Supervising Social Worker to join their Lancaster team. Key Responsibilities:
- Support & Supervision: Provide expert supervision and support to foster carers, empowering them to deliver therapeutic care tailored to children's unique needs.
- Recruitment & Development: Contribute to recruiting and training resilient foster families to ensure high standards of care and stability.
- Therapeutic Practice: Apply reflective, systemic, and psychodynamic approaches rooted in attachment theory and mentalization to enhance practice standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external professionals to optimize outcomes for children and young people.
- Out-of-Hours Support: Participate in out-of-hours support to maintain consistent care and safety for children.
