  • Develop and grow a cohort of foster carers, undertaking Form F assessments as needed
  • Collaborate with families and professionals to ensure placements meet children’s needs
  • Keep up-to-date with relevant legislation, regulations, and best practice standards

Requirements:

  • A three-year undergraduate degree or a two-year postgraduate degree in social work, with SWE registration
  • Extensive knowledge of safeguarding, The Children Act 1989, Fostering Regulations 2011, and related legislation
  • Experience in undertaking Form F assessments and working with foster carers
  • Ability to work flexibly outside of standard hours, including evenings and weekends when required
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop solutions
  • Commitment to maintaining family and community placements where in the child’s best interests
  • Valid driving licence and willingness to travel across rural areas, with flexibility for journeys up to 90 minutes per carer

Laura was very straight and not promising the world.

She was helpful and responsive and actually found me some work. I have met many others recently and been totally uninspired by them. I have already recommended Vetro to another friend.
